Erez Bustan
President, CEO and Founder
Mr. Bustan founded American LegalNet in 1996. Prior to American LegalNet, he founded the highly successful American Runner Attorney Service, a company serving law firms in Southern California. In the process of growing American Runner into a multi-million dollar business that served over 300 law firms as clients, Mr. Bustan was able to see firsthand the market opportunity to create a Desktop to Courthouse application and started providing a national electronic forms database, as well as identifying the tremendous potential of e-filing and e-dockets. Mr. Bustan subsequently sold American Runner to focus fully on American LegalNet. American LegalNet is the #1 Desktop to Courthouse Workflow solution provider, which enhances workflow, minimizes risk and reduces cost.
Alan Block
VP of Business Development
Mr. Block is an experienced "C-level" professional, consultant, technical leader, and visionary with proven capabilities in strategic analysis and direction setting; financial, technical, and tactical analysis and prioritization; building consensus; and delivering results. He has proven success in identifying, analyzing, and adopting relevant new technologies, building and marketing custom and packaged software, integrating emerging technologies with existing applications, and implementing new systems and solutions. Mr. Block has extensive technical experience in systems planning, design, development, integration, and implementation. In addition to technology assignments, he has managed financial planning and reporting and accounting operations as the CFO of a major regional law firm. As the CIO of a top 20 law firm, he managed a large staff, multi-million dollar technology budgets, and planned and implemented international hardware infrastructure and software systems.
Ariela Bicer
Controller
Ms. Bicer has more than 20 years experience of a varied background in business, accounting and services to bear on the company's administrative and financial concerns. With experience as an independent entrepreneur as well as managing telemarketing and airline reservations, Ariela's down-to-earth focus and pragmatic approach complements and enhances the software and content development, technical and professional services operations of the company.
John Daquino
Director of Content & Quality Assurance
Mr. Daquino, a specialist in electronic form development and publishing, is responsible for the production of electronic forms, including acquisition, scanning, coding, cataloguing, QA and publishing. He has worked for ALN since its inception. He also worked with Mr. Bustan at American Runner, where he served as Controller. Mr. Daquino previously served as financial consultant for Western Financial Bank where he obtained his L&D, Series 6 licenses. He holds a B.S., Management Information Systems from California State University, Northridge.
Kin Lee
Director of IT
Mr. Lee has over eight years experience with American LegalNet products, joining the company in 2000 as a Web Developer. He has worked on many upgrade projects including, Perl to ASP, ASP to ASP.net conversions. Realizing a need, he converted the 2003 Toolbar to 2007 Ribbon in 2008. In 2007, he was appointed to the position of Director of IT and currently oversees the day-to-day operations of the development team. Mr. Lee holds a B. S., in Computer Science from the University of Mississippi.
Connie Moser
Director of Marketing
Ms. Moser has over 10 years of experience as a marketing leader in the professional services and legal software industry. She has vast experience in managing the development of marketing programs to drive revenue growth, directing branding initiatives, managing brand equity and product launches. Ms. Moser was Sr. Director of Marketing Communications for Elite, a Thomson Reuters business from 2004 to 2009. From 1999 to 2004, she was the Director of Marketing Communications for Elite. Prior to that, she held marketing-related and technical writing management positions at Elite. Elite is the leading global provider of financial and practice management systems to the legal industry and other professional services markets. Ms. Moser holds a B.A. from California State University, Fresno.
